Join the Blood:Water Book Club

When I lived in Nashville, I spent one Thursday night a month wrapped up in a good book with some close friends. It was a night I looked forward to every month. I loved being part of a book club. That's why I am so excited to announce Blood:Water is launching its own book club!

Each month, Blood:Water staff will choose a book that has helped shaped the organization, relates to their work or provides inspiration. As you read along with Blood:Water, a staff member will blog about their thoughts on the book once a week. At the end of the book, Blood:Water will host a live, online discussion.

Blood:Water is kicking things off with "When Helping Hurts: How to Alleviate Poverty Without Hurting the Poor… and Yourself” by Steve Corbett and Brian Fikkert. They are also giving away a free copy of the book. For details on how to win and more information on how to join the book club, click here.

Enjoy!!
